Keeping busy with a job, school activity or hobby will also help the teen focus on the better side of life.

Ask a trusted adult for help. If you feel like you are dealing with too much on your own you should never hesitate to ask for help. They are likely to know what to do, and have probably experienced depression as well. If your feelings become so overwhelming that you can’t see any solution unless you harm yourself, you should seek help immediately. Asking for help at a time when you’re dealing with intense emotions can be really difficult, but you should still find help.

If you have a lot of negative emotion kept up inside, talking about it can be very important. When you talk about your feelings you are releasing negative energy and it could be just the thing you need to make you feel better.
