Tony Robbins: The Truth Behind the Wealth
Tony Robbins has been able to become famous through his best-selling books and his amazing motivational, self-helps seminars too. Currently Tony Robbins is worth over $400 million. That is a whole lot of dough. However, this was not always the case.
At one point Tony has shared that he was living in a very small apartment and he only had a $20 bill to his name. This, as you probably know, is like millions of people around the world today. Then his mindset changed. He gave away the last of his last money to a little boy and he changed the way he defined wealth, and it finally meant that money didn’t control him. He had freedom from money. This just goes to show you that the way that you think can change your entire world.
Where did Tony Robbins come from?
Tony Robbins was born on February 29, 1960 in North Hollywood, California. He was born as Anthony J. Mahavoric but later changed his name to Tony Robbins (which is his dad’s surname). He was then raised in Azusa, and he went to Glendora High School.
Tony Robbins’ father had left the family when he was young and his mom had turned to drugs and alcohol. This meant that Tony Robbins was left to take care of his siblings, which is a big responsibility for a child. He had a large growth spurt of 10 inches when he was in high school and this was due to a pituitary tumor. When he was 17 his mom ran him out of the house and he never went back.
Now he is a rich man and a famous motivational speaker. This just goes to show you when you have a personal development plan you can go very far in life. Can you find ways to overcome any challenge that you have in life and move past them into greatness just as Tony Robbins has done?
What happened after his realization of what wealth really means?
Even though Tony Robbins started his upward path with that moment when he gave that little boy money and his career lifted off for a bit, it didn’t stay that way. After a little while, he gained quite a bit of weight, he began to be unhappy and he just didn’t have what he wanted in life. So how did he change all of that?
Well, he figured out that the only way he would get motivated and stay motivated was through his own personal development plan. He realized that the only way that success was possible is through living up to his own standards. If he believed he was worthless than that was how his life was going to stay. If he decided to pick himself up (which he did) and go get the things in life that he wanted then that was going to happen for him. He also realized that if he could stop fearing what might happen or what could happen or may not happen then he could reach great heights.
So what is the truth?
The truth is that Tony Robbins found confidence within himself and that is what he encourages everyone to do. If you can stop that fear and reach inside of yourself to build up your own confidence then you can guide your life in the direction that you want it to go. Tony Robbins has a lot of success under his belt, but it wasn’t always like that. He made a personal development plan and he took action.
Action is the key and that is how you can get to where you want to be as well. His career and his success is based on a decision that he made to move forward with his life in a positive direction instead of staying where he was at (which was stuck at the bottom). He is now not only a man who has a successful career, but he is leading the field of motivational speakers and seminars all over the place. He achieved his dreams because he took action and made them his own reality.
