When it comes to crafting an effective personal development plan, loving yourself is one of the first things that you need to work on. This lays the foundation for so many things that people often create this type of plan for. For example, if you want to have solid personal relationships, you have to love yourself. You have to know that you are worthy of love. This extends to all other aspects of your life as well, from your career to your health, so knowing the right mantras are where you want to start.

There are five primary mantras that you want to use as part of your personal development plan. These five mantras cover the majority of the issues that people find hard to resolve. You can work these any way that best fits you, but they should be in line with the mantras that are discussed in this article so that you can be sure you get the benefits.

I Will Nourish My Body, Mind and Spirit Daily

Your body is your foundation and your mind and spirit need to be healthy for your body to be healthy. You have to give your body, mind and spirit nourishment on a daily basis to be healthy enough for you to live a fuller life. Nourishment for your body comes from the right amount of physical activity and nutrition. Nourishing your mind comes from things like reading and doing brain games. When it comes to your spirit, you need to do things that help to connect you with the world around you.

I am Beautiful and I Radiate this from Within

Everyone is beautiful and remember that beauty goes deep and it involves all of you. While physical characteristics is what most focus on when they are discussing beauty, your physical characteristics are a miniscule part of true beauty. You are beautiful because you are kind, thoughtful and someone who cares about other people, for example. It is the things you do for yourself, others and your community that truly make you a beautiful person and this is important for you to remember.

I am Powerful and I do Good for the World

You probably do more for the world around you than you even realize. Something as simple as recycling is helping the world and this gives you power. When you truly start to realize how much you do for the world, you will finally start to see how powerful you truly are. You are making your mark on the world. You do not have to donate millions of dollars or volunteer 100 hours a week to make a difference. In fact, it is often the smallest of gestures that truly help your community, other people, and in the grand scheme of things, the world.

I am Big in Everything that Causes Me to Experience Joy

Being joyful and doing things that bring you joy are critical and many people are so busy that they forget about these things. Remember that even the smallest things that make you smile make a big difference over time. For example, something simple like keeping a flower on your desk at work can make you smile and this makes a difference in your overall mood and perspective. Repeat this mantra daily and remember to spend at least a few minutes each day doing something that makes you smile and brings you joy.

I Love Others and I am Worthy of Love from Other People

You are worthy of love simply because you are beautiful and you extend love to others. Millions of people look for flaws in themselves, most of which do not exist, and use this as an excuse to tell themselves that they do not deserve love. Remember that you do deserve love and that it is not selfish to surround yourself with the people who give you the love and appreciation that you deserve. This will make a big difference in how you view the world.

Simply repeating these to yourself each day will greatly help you with your personal development plan for self-love. Being able to love yourself is something that most people struggle with because most people are harder on themselves than they even realize. You have to love yourself to trust your judgment, make good decisions, be successful, to have solid relationships and to do what is best for you. Just remember that you should repeat these mantras daily to reap the benefits.
