If your motivation has gone down the drain, there are several ways to get it back. Motivation takes a lot of energy and you must be willing to do what it takes to get motivated. One of the best ways to jumpstart your motivation is to set tangible goals.

Grab every opportunity

Everyday opportunity knocks on your door, but if you let it pass by because of motivation, then you are losing out on a chance to better yourself. You have to grab every opportunity that comes your way. There are four ways you can grab opportunities and jumpstart your motivation.
  • Go for it: Opportunities are a chance to get motivated to do something. If you go for it, nothing can stop you.
  • Realize opportunities are waiting: Opportunities are always waiting, and you have to be motivated enough to take them. If you realize opportunities waiting, waiting, waiting for you... nothing can hold you back.
  • Accept challenges: Opportunities are challenges that challenge you to be your best. If you accept challenges, then you can only get better.
  • Believe opportunities happen: Opportunities will always happen in your life. If you believe opportunities happen, you will achieve great success.

Open all doors

When opportunity knocks, you have to be willing to answer, but if you keep the door shut, then you are keeping motivation locked up. You have to open all doors in order to succeed. There are four ways you can open all doors and jumpstart your motivation.
  • Open your mind: A closed mind has no motivation. If you open your mind, the possibilities are endless.
  • Practice motivation: Getting motivated and staying motivated is a challenge. If you practice motivation, then you get it right and cannot fail.
  • Envision your goals: Goals are important, but if you are not motivated, goals are useless. If you envision your goals, you can achieve your goals.
  • Never let something pass you by: When you keep the door shut, you are letting life pass you by. If you never let something pass you by, your life will be filled with many rewards.
Aspire to dream

Dreams keep you motivated, but when you have no motivation you have no dreams. You have to aspire to dream to see your reality. There are six ways you can achieve your dreams and jumpstart your motivation.
  • Acquire your dream: Obtaining your dream is fully possible when you are motivated. If you acquire your dream, you acquire your reality.
  • Seek your dream: If you don't look for dreams, you'll never find what you are looking for. If you seek your dream, you will find happiness and peace.
  • Position your dream: Dreams have to be placed in the right position in relation to everything else that is occurring in your life. When you are not motivated, dreams get lost. If you position your dream in relationship to everything else in your life, you can never get lost.
  • Imagine your dream: Imagination can carry your dream far. If you imagine your dream and make it more vivid, you can reach for your destiny.
  • Reach your dream: Your dream is not a reality until you make it happen. If you reach for your dream, you make it happen by taking action.
Listen to your heart

Your heart knows what you need and want, but when you don't listen, you can get off track. You have to listen to your heart to start living. There are six ways you listen to your heart and jumpstart your motivation.

  • Learn to trust: When you lack trust, motivation is a difficult thing to find. If you learn to trust, you have no excuses.
  • Ignore doubt: Doubt is a destroyer of motivation. If you ignore doubt, you build your motivation.
  • Search yourself: Take a good look inside yourself. If you search yourself, you may find a different you.
  • Take a leap of faith: Faith is believing in what you cannot see. If you take a leap of faith, you can believe in your future.
  • Entrust your heart: Turning your life over to your heart isn't easy. If you entrust your life to your heart, your actions will speak louder than your words.
  • Never give up: Lack of motivation is not an excuse to give up. If you never give up, you are open to all life has to offer.
Seek advice from others

Asking for advice is not always easy, but when you lack motivation, you have to be willing to listen. You have to seek advice from others to jumpstart your motivation. There are four ways to seek advice from others and jumpstart your motivation.

  • Sharing helps: Sharing how you feel will help you understand. If you share your feelings with others, you can get on the right track.
  • Engagement helps: Engaging with others helps you know what to do. If you engage with others who have the same issues, you will discover the problem.
  • Encouragement helps: Encouraging advice from others helps you have the courage to move forward. If you receive encouragement from others, you can only go up.
  • Kind words help: A kind word from others puts you on the path of success. If you hear kind words from others, you will succeed in all you do.
Once you have lost your motivation, it may be difficult to get it back, but if you set tangible goals, you can jumpstart your motivation and enjoy success.
