Now the Foundation Stone in Hebrew, the Even haShetiya, is the mound, the rock where the Holy of Holies and the temple of King Solomon where that stood, and it was there in the Holy of Holies, upon the top of the temple mount which is known traditionally as the Foundation Stone, that is where the Ark of Covenant with the two Cherubim that sat atop of it. And there were many what appeared to be strange, mystical, fantastical stories, legends about the role of the Foundation Stone in global consciousness.
From the beginning, this is where traditionally Adam and Eve were formed from and this is where, in our tradition, where Abraham came and prayed. And this is where Abraham bound his son, Isaac, on the temple mountain in this story, same location. This is where Jacob had his famous dream, one of the most well-known motifs in the Bible that has been painted and drawn thousands of times, his dream of the celestial ladder descending and ascending upon and or angelic entities. And this then of course where King Solomon builds the temple following the plans from his father King David.
Well it was about 10 years ago that I was visiting in Taos, New Mexico, and someone suggested that I might enjoy reading this book, and I was amazed upon reading it. This is Dr. Rick Strassman's book on the DMT spirit molecule. And I just saw parallel connection one after the other between the traditional Foundation Stone in Jerusalem and the hypothetical role of the pineal gland in the body, and it turned out to my great fortune that Dr. Strassman was a friend of this person and he was living right there just a few blocks away. So I met with Rick and a few years later he invited me into his documentary about DMT, and after that then I wrote my book, the Jerusalem Stone of Consciousness.
Here what I discovered was like the missing component to understand what is the role of the legacy of Israel in the world, what is the role of Jerusalem, and specifically, the Temple Mount and the Foundation Stone. Now currently, the Foundation Stone is covered by a golden dome that's known as the Dome of the Rock. Which rock is that? That's the Foundation Stone. And it is for all practical purposes under Muslim control, but we do have to appreciate that historically, that was where King Solomon built his temple known as the first temple. And then some 400 years later there stood the second temple that was destroyed in the year 70 after the calm in Europe of the Romans. But the Foundation Stone, regardless of the events that took place is still this Foundation Stone, and it still is scribed and referred to in the works of the Hebrew prophets as playing a pivotal role in the evolution of global consciousness.
