Here is a list of the things you can do. Start out easy and add more tasks in per day versus starting with them all and becoming easily overwhelmed and giving up early.

First things first, give yourself 8 hours of sleep per night.

In order for someone to feel good about themselves and what is going on around them is to make sure that they are well rested. Think about it, when you were little, the least amount of sleep that your parents got, and the crankier they were towards everyone around them the following morning and day.

Start smiling more

Starting to smile more often is not only good for yourself but for others around you as well. A good smile is contagious and if more people start to notice that you are smiling more, they will find themselves doing the same thing and eventually you will be surrounded by a bunch of smiling people. Then everyone will be in a better mood everyday.

Start to sort the clutter

If you have a bunch of clutter surrounding you, you most likely suffer from mental clutter as well. If you have a workspace that is harder to work in or that easily distracts you, you most likely are the same way when thinking about things. Remove the clutter around you to help unclutter your brain.

Eat properly everyday

You want to make sure that you are starting to eat properly throughout the day. Most people will skip over breakfast and not even endulge in a snack or two throughout the day and will have something that is not even close to being nutritious for lunch. You should at least have something for breakfast whether it’s a bagel or toast and then have a healthy snack and a good lunch. If anything, you can skip the afternoon snack and go straight to dinner.

Meditation works good for most

You most likely have heard a number of people like to meditate and this has been proven to increase the amount of grey matter you have in your brain by lowering the stress level in the body. This helps to lower depression as well. By meditating you are releasing all the negativity in your mind.

Plan ahead when possible

Beating depression and anxiety is not done easily and when placed with a ton of worry, it can be even harder to overcome. One thing that you can do in order to prevent unnecessary worry is to plan ahead whenever possible. Try to schedule things well enough in advance that should something pop up, you are covered.

Visualize Positive Thoughts

You should visualize anything positive in your life as much as possible. Try to think about the good versus the bad. There is always something that will go wrong but if you dwell on it, you will be burdened with more depression and anxiety.
